Love Stories are forever

Great love stories is a series on {this is glamorous} blog. It chronicles the great love stories of famous (often glamorous) people. I just happened to read two of them. Audrey Hepburn is an icon (i can't even say 'was', i love her so much), with utmost grace and poise and there is no denying that in everyone's imagination she would have found love easily. But in reality, it came a lot later in her life, but when it came, it lasted forever. Go here for the lovely story of Audrey and Robbie.

Both photos from the {this is glamorous} blog.

Don't forget to look through the other great love stories while you are there. Loved the enchanting love story of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainer III of Monaco.

This bag:

Get this bag at Free People

Could there be any more a perfect bag? Uh No! But for 5,459 INR, it's pretty steep. Nonetheless... I am in LOVE.

Cannes Favorite Red Carpet looks (until now)

Hey guys,

Here is a first installment in my favorite looks from Cannes Red Carpet. I had been waiting for this event more than anything to witness what are the leading ladies wearing this year. It's always fun to look around and choose favorites.

This year witnesses the return of fishtails :) Well, here goes:
My very favorite:

Naomi Watts looked gorgeous in a Marchesa Gown though the necklace was unnecessary. Look at  the details on her bodice:

Her hair looked perfect and she looked radiant.

Close second was this Jessica Chastain in Gucci look:

This look with the classic nude+shimmer combo looked so contemporary. Loved it.

Few other favorites in no particular order:

All images taken from the Red Carpet Fashion Awards site.

What did you love? Or hate? :o) I am still extremely keen on seeing what Aishwarya Rai chooses to wear. There has been lots of speculation on that because of the post-baby weight.
See you later!

Links for the week

Hello people,

Sorry for being MIA for so long. I am back with a links to the WWW kind of post. Something I  loved reading or seeing from around the world wide web. Feel free to leave some fun links of your own.

An adorable gift for a gardening mother for Mothers' Day.

How cool - paint swatches from literature.

One sweet thing I have been hooked on to for the past few days is a cheesecake. And a non- bake one with sprinkles is right up my alley (image above) .

Loved this article on why do we love Instagram so much.

An adorable cookie monster mug.

These photos made me LOL.

Loving this bright manicure, so right for spring/summer.

A curtain made of petals? Neat.

And a surprise:
Guess who plays Walt Disney in the biopic of the man who built the House of Mouse? Oh Ryan Gosling of course. OK, it's a joke, a fake poster. But I am already in dreamland, what if this is made? Go here to read the entire article.

Ciao... Enjoy.
